SPECTRO’s founder, Bob Wehman, started producing oil after winning the Great American Mountain Rally in 1957. Using his experience working with and manufacturing 2-stroke oils at SAAB USA, he wanted to focus on making quality racing oils for enthusiasts all over the world, across multiple different racing disciplines.

There have been countless talented racers flying the SPECTRO banner over the years. SPECTRO has been committed to supporting racers and has sponsored thousands of racers over the last 7 decades.
